মোজাফফর হোসেন জন্ম মেহেরপুরে, ১৯৮৬ সালে। ইংরেজি ভাষা ও সাহিত্যে রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উচ্চশিক্ষা গ্রহণ করেছেন। পেশাজীবন শুরু করেন সাংবাদিকতা দিয়ে। বর্তমানে বাংলা একাডেমিতে অনুবাদ-কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে কর্মরত। প্রধানত কথাসাহিত্যিক। বিশেষ আগ্রহ অনুবাদ এবং সমালোচনা সাহিত্যে। ‘অতীত একটা ভিনদেশ’ গল্পগ্রন্থের জন্য তিনি এক্সিম ব্যাংক-অন্যদিন হুমায়ূন আহমেদ কথাসাহিত্য পুরস্কার-২০১৭ ও ‘পরাধীন দেশের স্বাধীন মানুষেরা’ গল্পগ্রন্থের জন্য। আবুল হাসান সাহিত্য পুরস্কার ২০১৮ অর্জন করেন।
